It is with profound sadness that we learned of our friend and classmate’s untimely passing on May 11, 2019. Neil came to SACS in junior school [as a boarder] and matriculated in 1986 after many years of success in academics, culture and sport. We will remember his rampaging runs down the wing, his leadership, his generosity of spirit, his willingness to give of his time for others, his mischievous sense of humour that manifested in many good-natured antics at the Rosedale boarding house, and above all his friendship. Neil went on to pursue a successful business career and raise a loving family. He continued his passion for sport, and completed the Two Oceans and Comrades Marathons, as well as Ironman South Africa just one month ago. Our hearts go out to his wife Vanessa and their children, and our thoughts are with all those whose lives Neil touched in such a positive way. As classmates, our memories of Neil will remain in our hearts forever. RIP, Snolle. From the SACS Class of ‘86. Spectemur Agendo – Let us be judged by our actions
